Housekeeper / Family Assistant

South Perth Family | Weekdays 9:30 am – 3:00 pm | Extra Hours in School Holidays

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Housekeeper / Family Assistant to support our household and family life.

The role involves daily housekeeping, home organisation, errands, meal preparation and occasional support with school pick-ups, children's appointments, and activities. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, trustworthy and able to take initiative in managing the smooth running of a busy household.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily housekeeping: tidying, vacuuming, laundry, ironing and organisation
  • Kitchen support: cleaning, meal prep, food organisation and fridge checks
  • Running errands: groceries, parcels, dry cleaning, bills and general tasks
  • Pet care: walking dogs and feeding pets as needed
  • Family organisation: children's school bags, uniforms, room tidy and activity prep
  • Assisting with school pick-ups and drop-offs to appointments or activities
  • Household organisation: wardrobes, pantry, toy storage, seasonal swaps and decluttering
  • Weekly/monthly deep-cleaning (bathrooms, windows, floors, appliances)
  • Managing household supplies and shopping lists

Additional Hours

  • During school holidays: childcare, activities and extra family support

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a housekeeper, nanny or family assistant
  • Proactive, organised and reliable personality
  • Trustworthy with excellent attention to detail
  • Valid driver's licence (own transport preferred)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
