The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is seeking a dedicated Overnight Cleaning and Housekeeping Supervisor to help maintain our exceptional standards and deliver outstanding experiences.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll not only supervise but also actively participate in cleaning operations. You will support the Cleaning Manager in overseeing nightly tasks, managing a team, and ensuring the venue is spotless, safe, and professionally presented.

You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across large-scale event spaces and corporate function rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise overnight cleaning operations while performing cleaning duties yourself.
• Ensure high-quality outcomes by working alongside your team and setting the standard.
• Assist with rostering, stock control, reporting and labour management.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients, staff, and patrons.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have

• The legal right to live and work in Australia without restrictions.
• A valid visa that allows full-time employment - Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or a visa with unrestricted work rights.
• No limitations on working hours. Must not be restricted to 24 hours.
• The ability to work overnight shifts as required by the role.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Training in safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (advantageous).
• Experience with ride-on powered cleaning equipment (preferred).
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and equipment.
• Previous overnight shift work.
• Experience supervising teams of 5-10 staff.
