RDO + Work From Home + Flexible Hours- Full-Time or Part-Time
Opportunities available across Sydney, the Central Coast or Newcastle
Our "Why"
Recovery Station exists to empower people to live a quality life. We believe in creating the ideal work environment for you because when you are happy, healthy, well-skilled and fulfilled, you're in the best position to have a positive impact on everyone around you.
Joining Recovery Station means aligning with a company that believes in empowering you and your future.
The Role
We predominantly see our clients in their homes, group homes, aged care facilities or in a public setting. One morning you may be helping someone trial new AAC as they visit their local cafe or visiting someone at home for a swallowing assessment or to work on a mealtime management plan.
You may see 3 or 4 clients one day, then the next you're working from home or having an office day to write reports, prepare resources, have supervision / training.
This role is ideal if you like to have genuine flexibility and control over how you structure your days - meaning your individuality is recognised + you don't miss family time or life after work.
Depending where you live, we tailor your caseload to service clients close to home. Your personalised admin support team will work with you to ensure you aren't zigzagging around Sydney inefficiently.
Currently have capacity for one or two clinicians to see clients around either the Hills, North West, North Shore or around South-West Sydney.
Your role can be constructed as full-time or part-time and we have offices in Neutral Bay, Liverpool and Blacktown for you to use to either see clients or collab with your team.
If you are a Senior or currently Supervising and you would like to complement managing your own caseload with leadership responsibilities, we are happy to discuss this as we have a team of experienced clinicians and new grads who would love to welcome another knowledgeable, experienced leader.
How We Foster a Positive Team
- We value flexibility so you can fit us in around your personal life eg family, sport, volunteering or another part-time role.
- Remuneration that matches your experience plus the option to stretch for RDO's and financial bonuses if you choose
- We trust you to work from home, or in the office, via telehealth and we give you a laptop and pay a phone/ data allowance to support this
- A member of our administrative team will assist you with scheduling your appointments efficiently to minimise travel, to make calls and take messages for you whilst you're in sessions and to assist with the maintenance of compliance documentation, such as setting up and adjusting funding plans
- Travel is reimbursed at $0.99/km + tolls and parking at appointments
- Novated leasing options
- Ability to transfer between offices if you move one day
- You'll have an office filled with clinical resources (plus snacks to fuel you too)
- Discounted Health Insurance for you and your family plus other everyday savings on your Energy Bill, online shopping, groceries and more
- An Employee Assistance Program is available to provide external, confidential support
- To bring us together as a team, we have a fun wellbeing program that involves monthly social events. Previously we've gone to mini golf, ten pin bowling, wheelchair basketball, made dumplings, candles and gingerbread houses, painted and celebrated important dates such as International Women's Day and mental health month and much more
From a professional development perspective:
- Your thorough Orientation will be supported by ongoing one on ones with your Supervisor to discuss goals personal to you via a CPD plan. For example do you want to learn about AAC or servicing Neuro clientsor receive more tailored leadership training? This is when you can chat about what you'd personally like to achieve
- These will be coupled with team meetings with your fellow speechie's so you can learn during in-service sessions, share ideas, resources and stay abreast of any industry updates
- Access additional training content anytime via our online resource library
- We love facilitating development pathways for clinicians seeking career progression and added responsibility via either supervising students/ grads/ junior staff, increased complexity of caseload or involvement in management procedures depending on what avenue you'd like to explore
- Two days paid CPD leave per annum to access external training courses
- Formal and informal liaison opportunities with other members of our multi-disc team to broaden your clinical knowledge and provide holistic care to our clients
- Companywide training day where we bring the entire business together (circa 130) and invite external presenters to provide unique, tailored CPD for each discipline based on your requests
Qualifications
- Approved qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
- Current driver's license with use of own vehicle
- NDIS Workers Screening and WWCC
