Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to NDIS participants. The successful candidate will support individuals of all ages with communication and swallowing difficulties, helping them enhance their communication skills and overall quality of life as part of their NDIS plan.

– Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and interventions.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Empathy and patience when working with patients.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the nature and extent of communication and/or swallowing difficulties in NDIS participants.
– Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with each participant's NDIS goals.
– Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions to support the development of speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills.
– Monitor participants progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
– Collaborate with families, caregivers, and support teams to provide education and practical strategies that enhance communication and participation in daily life.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or related field (Master's degree preferred).
– Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
– Previous experience working as a Speech Pathologist in a healthcare setting.
– Certification from Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) is preferred but not required.
