LILYMU is located in the heart of Parramatta Square known as a contemporary pan-Asian restaurant that combines influences from China and South East Asia. With a menu that boasts a blend of out of this world flavour combinations through a selection of main dishes and larger share plates, the menu has something for everyone that walks through the door.

LILYMU has menus for both private and larger celebrations with a highlight of Asian fusion dishes. Utilising fresh and ethically sourced ingredients cooked over coals and in searing hot woks, our food is far more than mere sustenance and takes you on a journey through Asia and beyond. The goal of the restaurant is to experience a taste of the east in the jewel of the west which is effortlessly done and loved by all customers.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef, you'll help lead the front-of-house team, ensure smooth service, and maintain Lilymu's high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and staff supervision
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Oversee reservations, floor operations, and guest relations during service
  • Assist with rostering, inventory control, and cost management
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and RSA regulations
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive team culture and a safe, efficient workplace

About You:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Sound understanding of food and beverage operations
  • RSA certification required
