Occupational Therapist

About the role

Exaudy Care' is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a casual basis in Narre Warren, VIC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality rehabilitation and support services to our clients, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address clients' specific goals and needs
• Provide various therapy interventions, such as skills training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications
• Collaborate with clients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with industry standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or aged care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills to identify clients' needs and develop effective interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and maintaining professional development
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
