The **Logistics Performance & Analytics Manager** is responsible for driving and improving operational and financial performance in warehouse and transport activities, through planning, analysis, and reporting. This is a senior role that has direct working relationship with the ELT members and CEO.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Translate conceptual questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders make informed decisions.
- Build models that lead practical and actionable solutions that support the future strategy of the logistics team.
- Develop appropriate data solutions, dashboards, and visualization to enable the logistics team to monitor and make key decisions based on operational performance.
- Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes as required for the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of all Logistics performance.
- Lead the logistics productivity pipeline to identify productivity initiatives to mitigate headwinds and reduce overall spend.
- Lead through cross functional meetings to identify new opportunities, forecasting of anticipated savings, prioritization of ideas and timeline to execution.
- Develop data integrity and source of truth reports through deeper use of enterprise tools
- Lead and continue to develop the Logistics & Analytics team. Lead the team through mentoring, coaching, and developing a team aligned with business goals.
- The role will be predominantly based in Mascot (2 to 3 days per week), with the balance being in Erskine Park DC.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Degree qualified in Logistics, Business, Data Science or relevant area
- At least 5 years of strong track record delivering value add initiatives through analytics and reporting in a similar capacity and comparable organisation/area
- Experience working with C-Suite level and senior managers, with very strong communication skills, and ability to present ideas clearly and in an impactful manner
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial principles
- Mindset of Drive / Confidence/ Accountability / Resilience and Adaptability
