Chef

Multigate Medical Products (MMP) is one of Australia and New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of procedure packs and medical consumables for public and private hospital markets. The company has grown significantly from its humble beginnings in the 1980s.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our corporate kitchen team in our new corporate office in Yennora. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this role will be responsible for preparing and creating delicious and nutritious meals for our employees and will be a daytime, weekday only position.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the day to day operations of the kitchen including planning and preparing daily high quality meals for employees
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation
• Manage kitchen inventory and place orders with suppliers
• Assist Kitchen Manager in developing and creating new menu items and seasonal offerings to ensure balance and variety
• Collaborate with corporate teams on special events and catering requirements
• Guiding and supporting kitchen staff to uphold high quality standards.

About You

• Demonstratable experience as a Chef
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional training preferred
• Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of food safety and proper handling practices
• Creativity in menu planning and presentation
• Excellent time management, problem solving and communication skills
