About The Role
The ERP Implementation Project Manager will serve as RSGx's internal lead during the discovery, implementation, and operationalisation of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform. This role bridges the business and our Microsoft implementation partner, ensuring that RSGx's operational, financial, and compliance objectives are embedded in the system design. This position will own the implementation program and report directly to the Steering Committee. After going live, the role transitions into Head of ERP, with accountability for governance, continuous improvement, and business enablement.
Discovery and Planning Phase
- Act as the RSGx primary representative to the Microsoft Dynamics implementation partner.
- Coordinate workshops, requirements gathering, and process documentation across Finance, Projects, Procurement, HR, and Operations.
- Validate business requirements and ensure alignment with RSGx workflows and reporting structures.
- Review proposed solution architectures, integrations, and data migration strategies.
- Develop ERP governance, data ownership, and change control frameworks for the program.
Implementation Phase
Working closely with the systems team and reporting to the Business Systems Manager:
- Oversee configuration, testing, and migration activities on behalf of RSGx.
- Coordinate internal SMEs and ensure timely feedback to the partner.
- Support user acceptance testing, training, and documentation.
- Monitor project milestones, budget adherence, and issue resolution.
- Report weekly to the internal ERP Steering Committee on progress, risks, and readiness.
Transition to Operations (Head of ERP)
Coordinate the integration of the ERP within the broader RSGx systems infrastructure under the oversight of the Business Systems Manager:
- Establish post-go-live support model and service-level expectations.
- Manage system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Lead ERP governance committee and change advisory process.
- Drive process optimisation and business analytics through Microsoft Power Platform and related tools.
- Own vendor relationships and license management for ERP and connected systems.
About you
Proven experience leading ERP programs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central, you have a strong understanding of construction and engineering processes, enabling you to connect with executives, tech teams, and vendors with expertise in change management, IT governance, and service transition. You are strong in analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement, and can lead with integrity and prioritise safety.
You hold a postgrad degree in Business, IT, or Project Management, with certifications like Dynamics 365 Finance, PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile. A proactive problem-solver, you deliver aligned, effective solutions.
