Our federal government client, the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) is seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Delivery Manager.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  2. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.

  3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  4. Facilitate meetings, taking structured minutes, tracking action items, and following up on outcomes.

  5. Proven ability to keep senior stakeholders informed and engaged, manage risks and issues and coordinate releases.

  6. Exposure & technical experience with: o Cloud technologies like Entra ID, Intune o Modern Microsoft stack (Microsoft 365, Windows server) o Security (MDM, Sophos, Defender, Tenable) o Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange o PowerShell, MSI/MSIX packaging, and desktop SOE deployment

Desirable

  1. 5+ years of experience in a technical role.

  2. 5+ years of experience in delivery management or service delivery.

  3. Strong understanding of IT service management principles, including incident, problem, change, and request management.

  4. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
