About the role

As a senior member of the Growth Assets team, you will manage complex, large-scale portfolios and drive innovation across our private equity platform. This is a high-impact, autonomous role dedicated to delivering outstanding results for our members.
Day to day, you'll:
- Develop and execute the private equity strategy in partnership with executive leadership.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to internal committees.
- Lead selection and management of private equity managers and co-investments.
- Apply advanced analysis for investment decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Negotiate agreements to achieve optimal investment outcomes.
- Integrate sustainable investing practices.
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior audiences.
- Represent ART at industry events and provide thought leadership.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and effective risk management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and strong commercial judgement. You will also require the following:
- Extensive experience in private equity, with a strong record in manager selection, co-investments, and co-underwriting.
- Deep industry expertise and networks across the global private equity landscape.
- Proven experience in international investment markets, including legal review, negotiation, and transaction execution.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- A high performing solution provider that proactively identifies potential risks and creative solutions.
- Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven experience in leading and inspiring high-performing teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce, economics, or a related discipline.
Investment experience in direct private equity or secondary transactions of private equity funds will be advantageous.
