The City of Newcastle is seeking a visionary Precinct & Place Planning Section Manager to lead a high-performing team in delivering expert planning advice and innovative precinct-based frameworks.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery of urban design, land use policy, and place-based planning—most notably within key precincts such as Broadmeadow.

Working closely with the Strategic & Place Planning Manager, you'll help shape high-quality built and open space environments aligned with CN's Community Strategic Plan.

This position also offers professional growth through rotational opportunities across equivalent management roles within the Planning and Development service unit.
