**About the role

Reporting to the Director of Lived Experience, this role requires demonstrated knowledge of contemporary Peer Work practices to lead the Lived Experience (Peer) workforce; ability to liaise and consult with stakeholders and provide effective engagement; and the skills to manage a diverse consumer/carer identified workforce through operational and professional supervision.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Lead and manage Lived Experience (Peer) staff members by fostering and committing to safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives, including performance appraisals and developing the workforce as per local, state and national strategies and

Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service and Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) values.

Provide high-level advice to the Director of Lived Experience, senior management and other stakeholders on Mental health Lived Experience (Peer) support activities, including strategies to meet service needs and community expectations as well as compliance with all procedures, organisational policies, regulations and standards.
