Michael DePinto Airconditioning & Refrigeration (MDAC&R) is offering an apprenticeship as an Airconditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic. MDACR is a well established locally owned family business company that has been quietly getting on with the job of meeting the Airconditioning, Refrigeration & Ventilation needs of Mackay & District for over 36 continuous years.

We are looking for:

  • 1st & 4th Year Apprentices

We carry out one of the most diversified scopes of work available in the industry. The working director has over 44 yrs continuous experience working in the trade and is still active on the tools. If you want to learn from one of the longest serving trade technicians in the industry, then this is your opportunity.

  • Work uniforms including Work boots after 12 months service & then replaced yearly
  • Tailored work hours to assist with Pick up & Drop off for children.
  • Planned regular overtime is there for those that want it.
  • Accommodation can be supplied & included as part of employment.
  • Mentoring &  technical support for Junior & senior staff. We workshop & discuss difficult jobs between all members of the group to come up with fresh ideas to solve problems together to get the best outcome;
  • We offer ongoing continuous training & improvement with a range of OEM & Certified RTO training courses across the UEE range of trades;
