Maintenance Co-Ordinator

About the Role
The key responsibilities are to ensure all aspects of maintenance are carried out in accordance with best business practices and statutory requirements. Reporting to the Project Manager your major focus will be leading the day-to-day maintenance activities including, but not limited to; driving safety initiatives; managing the workforce, maintaining safe and operatable equipment.
Competencies / Qualifications
Mandatory
- Trade Qualified diesel fitter (preferably with On-Highway Truck expierence);
- Experience in the establishment of best practice maintenance principles;
- Being the sole custodian of the company's maintenance software (Gearbox); and
- Management of personnel for safe and efficient operations.
Preferable
- Certificate IV in Project Management;
- ICAM Investigation qualification;
- National Police Clearance; and
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of and execution of day-day maintenance activities.
- Forecasting and management of major overhauls.
- Component, parts and inventory management based on best business practice principles, incl. management of tyres (stock on hand, disposal etc.).
- Respond efficiently to breakdowns and management of staff effectively.
- Contribute to the development and reviews of Project Plans that incorporate Production, Plant/Equipment, Maintenance and manning requirements;
- Implement approved Project Plans / Maintenance Schedules; and
- Work closely with the Client to ensure an achievable schedule is set and maintained for the project;
- Provide coaching and mentoring for the site team by monitor performance expectations by developing clear objectives, measures and targets; and
- Work with Supervisors and identify members of the workforce for succession planning to ensure there is a pool of skilled employees is available, for future projects.
Employment conditions will be full-time employee on a 9 days on 5 days off roster with salary and other conditions discussed with the suitable candidate.
