Role Overview
The Remuneration Contractor will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing a global remuneration model, delivering annual salary reviews, and ensuring data integrity across multiple international missions. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, deep knowledge of HR and remuneration practices, and advanced Excel expertise (including PowerQuery). You will collaborate with stakeholders worldwide, provide strategic advice on remuneration strategies, and ensure decision-making is evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives.

You are a detail-driven professional with strong technical expertise in HR, remuneration analysis, or actuarial/economic data modelling. You thrive in complex environments, are confident working with large datasets, and can balance analytical rigour with practical, stakeholder-focused solutions. Your communication skills allow you to translate technical data into clear, strategic advice for decision-makers. Importantly, you must be an
Australian Citizen
and hold (or be able to obtain) a
minimum NV1 security clearance
.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct annual remuneration reviews across 100+ international missions.
- Maintain and enhance the remuneration analysis model, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
- Procure and integrate market data from external providers into remuneration frameworks.
- Provide strategic advice on remuneration in diverse and complex environments, including inflation or political risk settings.
- Prepare defensible documentation, methodologies, and audit-ready records.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with both internal leaders and international representatives.
- Drive survey coordination, data validation, and quality assurance processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Advanced Excel skills (including PowerQuery) and experience managing large data sets.
- Demonstrated expertise in remuneration analysis, HR, accounting, or economic data modelling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear, defensible recommendations.
- Experience engaging stakeholders in complex or international environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Australian Citizenship is
mandatory
. - Ability to obtain and maintain
NV1 Security Clearance
throughout the engagement.
