About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor (3-5+ years PAE) to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a broad range of matters spanning residential and commercial property law, with the autonomy to handle files independently and provide high-level legal advice to clients and referrers.

This role is suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys client contact, and values both independence and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing a high volume of conveyancing matters.
  • Independently managing files and workload.
  • Managing conveyancing matters from A-Z
  • Acting on commercial property and business matters, including sales, purchases, and leasing.
  • Providing strategic, solution-focused legal advice to clients.
  • Building rapport and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, financiers, and other professionals to progress matters efficiently.
  • Supervising and supporting administrative and staff where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and firm standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years+ post-admission experience (PAE).
  • Proven ability to run Queensland residential conveyancing files from start to finish.
  • Experience in commercial property transactions including leasing and business sales.
  • Confidence to liaise with clients, agents, and other parties autonomously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively under time pressures.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience using PEXA and LEAP.
