About the Role

NOTE: This position will commence as of Term 1, 2026.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Academic Tutors to join our growing team.

As a tutor with Jacaranda Academics, you will deliver one-on-one sessions with school-aged students in their homes or other agreed locations. You'll be assigned students based on your skills, experience, and subject preferences, ensuring the best match for both tutor and student.

This is a mobile role, so applicants must have a driver's licence and reliable transport to travel to and from sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and structured tutoring sessions aligned with each student's needs and goals.
  • Support students in developing confidence, study skills, and a positive attitude toward learning.
  • Follow the lesson plans and resources provided by Jacaranda Academics.
  • Maintain clear communication with the admin team regarding student progress, scheduling, and any concerns.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities and learning needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • New school leavers are welcome and encouraged to apply
  • Strong academic skills and subject knowledge in one or more areas across Years 1–12.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young learners succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule responsibly.
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
