Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced High School Biology Tutor to join our team and inspire the next generation of biologists.

Position Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Biology Tutor to provide small group tutoring sessions to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and a passion for teaching, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Biology Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging biology lessons that align with the high school curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students.

Assessment: Assess students' current knowledge and skills to identify areas of improvement and tailor lessons accordingly.

Homework Assistance: Provide guidance and support to students with their biology homework assignments, projects, and test preparation.

Progress Tracking: Keep accurate records of students' progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their child's performance.

Motivation: Inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for biology and excel in their studies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or a completion of at least Year 12 Biology Curriculum
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially with high school students.
  • Strong knowledge of high school biology curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically after school and on weekends, to accommodate the availability of both the tutor and the students.
