Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and structured English lessons for Years 7–12, including Standard and Advanced levels (Extension 1/2 experience highly regarded).
  • Guide students through HSC textual analysis, essay writing, and exam preparation aligned with NESA outcomes.
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback on weekly essay submissions and other assessment tasks.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to continually refine lesson materials and support student growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Deep passion for teaching and a strong command of the NSW English curriculum
  • Currently completing or holding a degree in Education, Arts, English, or related fields.
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring senior secondary English (Year 11–12) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex ideas clear and engaging.
  • Open to feedback, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development.
