About the role

Novelly is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Creative Writing Coach to join our team on a casual basis. As a Creative Writing Coach, you will be responsible for providing engaging and effective tutoring sessions to students looking to improve their creative writing facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on the development of young minds in the Chatswood, NSW area.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in creative writing.
  • Assisting students in developing strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Providing feedback and guidance to help students improve their confidence and competence in public speaking
  • Designing and implementing engaging, personalised lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring English language Art and public speaking, preferably in an educational or training environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in the English language
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
  • Flexibility and adaptability to suit the needs of our diverse student population
  • Relevant qualifications in education, English, or a related field would be highly regarded
