About The Role
As
Business Development Manager (Oceania)
, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's regional growth strategy. Positioned at the forefront of business expansion, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, identifying new opportunities, and cultivating strong client relationships across the security solutions sector.
This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building meaningful partnerships. You will spend significant time engaging directly with clients—through meetings, site visits, and networking events—while also managing inbound leads and creating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively pursue new and existing business opportunities, arranging meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
- Develop and deliver engaging customer presentations (including PowerPoint) tailored to client needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate new product developments and value propositions to prospective and existing clients.
- Formulate and execute a growth strategy focused on both revenue generation and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Promote the company's portfolio of products and services, addressing and anticipating client objectives.
- Build and manage detailed business plans, identifying and cultivating relationships with key partners, including system integrators, large-scale installers, distributors, and end-users.
- Design and implement annual and periodic sales activity plans in alignment with corporate best practices, ensuring all activities are objective-driven and outcomes are analysed.
- Professionally represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, client meetings, and industry networking events.
- Demonstrate agility and resilience by maintaining professionalism under pressure and adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
- Apply strong organisational and project management skills to oversee complex initiatives and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the surveillance and security industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing new business within the security or surveillance sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high proficiency in English.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
- In-depth knowledge of the security and surveillance market is highly regarded, though not essential.
- Strong time management and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Ability to remain composed, professional, and solutions-focused when working under pressure.
