Customer Service Officer

  • Location: Bayswater
  • Mon - Fri (8hour days)
  • $44.86 ph + penalties
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer with Sales experience for a local company in Bayswater, VIC.

About Our Client

Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide customer service and assistance in developing and marketing a dynamic range of steel reinforcing solutions for building, construction, mining, rural and industrial applications.
  • Manage the customer experience from quoting through to delivery with a high attention to detail and level of professionalism that will generate repeat and ongoing business.
  • Coordinate transport requirements with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficiencies are met and delivery occurs on time and in full every time.
  • Manage the internal sales database with accurate information entered and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Manage the accounts process to allow for first class reporting
  • Align with Sales, Scheduling and Production Planning to help manage demand whilst maintaining customer relationships

What You Will Need

  • Previous Sales experience
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Computer literacy and software skills to complete required tasks
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong reasoning and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with ever changing customer requirements.
