Roy Morgan – Australia's Most Trusted Research Company
About Us
Roy Morgan is Australia's most renowned and trusted market and social research company. For over 80 years, we have been delivering insights that shape policy, business, and the community. Our research team works with leaders across industries to ensure informed, data-driven decision making.
About the Role
We are seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our team as Field Research Officers – B2B on a short-term contract basis. In this role, you will be engaging directly with senior executives and decision-makers across Australia to conduct structured interviews via MS Teams as part of high-profile market research projects.
You will be calling from warm leads, not cold lists. This is not a sales role — it's an opportunity to contribute to research that influences Australia's most important industries and sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Calling and engaging with C-suite executives and business leaders.
- Scheduling and conducting structured research interviews via MS Teams.
- Recording and reporting accurate data and insights in line with project requirements.
- Managing call performance, appointment scheduling, and record keeping.
- Representing Roy Morgan with professionalism, integrity, and neutrality.
About You
We're looking for people who are confident communicators and comfortable speaking with senior executives. You'll be professional, articulate, and highly organised, with the ability to manage conversations and appointments efficiently.
To be successful, you will have:
- Must be able to attend 5 days of paid training in Melbourne (20–24 October).
- Previous experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or professional interviewing (preferred).
- Strong communication and objection-handling skills.
- A professional phone manner and confidence in speaking with C-suite executives.
- Proficiency with MS Teams and CRM/data entry tools.
- A growth mindset, adaptability, and ability to work towards KPIs.
- Availability for a 3-month contract (flexible hours: casual, part-time, or full-time).
- Legal right to work in Australia.
What's in it for you?
- Be part of Australia's most respected research organisation.
- Flexibility – work casual, part-time or full-time to suit your schedule.
- Gain valuable experience engaging directly with senior decision-makers.
- Training and support provided to help you succeed.
- Contribute to meaningful research that influences policy, business, and society.
If you are looking for a short-term role that combines professionalism, flexibility, and impact, we'd love to hear from you.
