As a Clinical Research Assistant at Phoenix Australia, you'll play a crucial role in developing and testing a digital app version of the SOLAR program for rural and regional Australia. You'll gain invaluable experience in conducting comprehensive trauma-focused research, from clinical interviews to app development and testing. This role offers you the chance to directly impact mental health outcomes and contribute to cutting-edge research in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct Clinical Research: Perform structured clinical interviews, qualitative interviews, and support participant recruitment and follow-up activities.
Contribute to Digital Intervention Development: Support the development and testing of the SOLAR program digital app for rural and regional Australia.
Manage Research Administration: Assist with ethics applications, study protocol development, and maintain project databases and documentation.
Support Knowledge Transfer: Deliver training and supervision in the SOLAR program and contribute to writing project reports and publications.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated clinical professional with postgraduate qualifications in mental health, possessing excellent research and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment focused on posttraumatic mental health.
You may also:
Have postgraduate qualifications in clinical mental health (e.g., clinical psychology, social work).
Possess prior experience in health, mental health, or clinical research environments.
Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in participant recruitment and data management.
Exhibit proficiency in computing tasks, including database management and data analysis.
Show a willingness to develop expertise in posttraumatic mental health issues.
