About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Workforce Planning and Rostering Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the National Retail Manager, this critical role will be responsible for the efficient use of our workforce across our retail locations, ensuring optimal coverage during store opening hours, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and enterprise agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Rostering & Scheduling: Develop and manage store rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels across all retail locations, balancing employee availability with store needs.
-Workforce Efficiency: Ensure the best use of people resources by optimising rosters, minimising overtime, and ensuring fair distribution of hours.
-Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and enterprise agreements, including working hours, breaks, and leave entitlements.
-Reporting: Monitor and report on key workforce metrics, including labour costs, productivity, and staff utilisation.
-Collaboration: Work closely with store managers to address staffing requirements, forecast workforce needs, and manage leave and absence planning.
-System Management: Utilise rostering software effectively, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting, and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
About You:
Proven experience in workforce planning, rostering, or scheduling within a multi-site retail environment.
Strong understanding of relevant employment laws, awards, and enterprise agreements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience working with rostering software and HR systems.
Ability to analyse workforce data and make informed decisions to optimise resources.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
