The Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Clerk | Legal Secretary with 4+ years of prior experience who is ready to take on a hands-on, client-facing role. You'll be working directly with the Managing Partner and Senior Associate, supporting quality matters and managing files from start to finish. This is a role for someone who thrives in a boutique environment and values being in-office 5 days a week, working closely with colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing files across a wide range of family law matters
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring files are kept accurate, organised, and on track with deadlines
  • Providing direct support to the Managing Partner and Senior Associate in case management

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally in family law
  • Proven ability to manage files and competing deadlines with precision
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with clients
  • A proactive, conscientious, and reliable approach
  • A genuine commitment to being part of a team that works in-office every day, thriving on collaboration
