This is an exciting opportunity to support the Energy Corporation of NSW by contributing to complex projects that inform organisational decision-making and government programs, while coordinating high-level cross-agency initiatives and providing essential administrative and project support. You'll join a positive, collaborative team delivering key policies for renewable generation in the REZs, with flexibility to lead or support workstreams based on your strengths. We're looking for a motivated team-player with (or willing to develop) any of the following skills: project management, energy or renewables, policy design, communications and engagement, preparing briefs and presentations, coordinating stakeholder meetings, procurement support, and business support.
About You
You're a proactive problem-solver. You bring experience working on complex projects or sensitive issues. You can confidently deliver timely analysis, coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and prepare high-quality briefs, reports, presentations and updates. You enjoy synthesising information, tracking progress against milestones and identifying emerging issues through strong research and evaluation skills. You can communicate clearly to support stakeholder engagement, working groups, and to ensure leaders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
You're also highly organised, able to juggle business support functions while maintaining efficient systems, processes and records. You're motivated by continuous improvement and look for opportunities to streamline the way teams work. Whether preparing reporting, supporting procurement or Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions, managing assets or assisting with onboarding, you approach tasks with professionalism and a collaborative mindset. Above all, you take pride in contributing to high-quality, impactful work that supports the organisation's strategic goals.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in providing project management and operational support

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state's electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State's first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
