Property Officer

  • Location Parramatta CBD with access to hybrid work arrangements

Your role

In this role, you'll manage business-as-usual property transactions while also supporting the Principal Property Officer on more complex acquisition, sale, and property programs. You'll work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation to provide professional property and valuation advice that supports decision-making.

What you'll do

  • Deliver quality, cost effective, and timely property acquisitions and sales, both directly and through contracted suppliers.
  • Manage and resource projects to ensure they meet client briefs, timelines, and expectations.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, providers, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused culture.
  • Support the Principal Property Officer by contributing advice, recommendations, and input on property valuations, purchases, sales, feasibility studies, and more complex property matters.
  • Contribute to progress reporting, risk management, and lessons learned documentation to improve performance and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Stay across regulatory developments and collaborate with colleagues to ensure property processes and policies remain compliant and effective.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a property or valuation related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to analyse risks and apply regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance.
