Are you looking for part-time work to fit around other commitments? Jayco, the largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles in Australia, is now offering part-time work for a number of exciting production roles

The benefits of working for Jayco include:

  • Permanent part time positions.
  • Part-time, Monday to Friday (5 days per week) 9:30am - 2:30pm
  • Part-timers will follow a 9-day fortnight roster, which includes scheduled days off across the fortnight.
  • Located in Dandenong South
  • All tools are provided.
  • Extensive training is provided.

Available roles include:

General Assembly - $30.16 per hour

  • Using hand and power tools to build accessories and other components for our recreational vehicles.
  • Installing panels, trims and windows.
  • Fitting rear lights and bumper bars.
  • Working with fibreglass to build roofs & walls.
  • Fitting side frames to the vans.
  • Laying floorboards onto the chassis.
  • Read plans and drawings.

Pre Assembly - $30.16 per hour

  • Using hand and power tools to build accessories and other components for our recreational vehicles.
  • Suspension arm and Axle installation.
  • Fitting wheels to hubs after axle installation.
  • Fitting shock absorbers and springs.
  • Fitting tow couplings and caravan hand breaks.
  • Fitting fold down support legs.
  • Completing wheel alignments.
  • Fitting caravan water tanks.

Pre-Wiring and Pre-Plumbing - $30.16 per hour

  • Pre-rough-in and pre-plumbing of vans.
  • Installing external lights and speakers.
  • Read plans and drawings.
  • Some experience in either electrical or plumbing is required.

Cabinet / Furniture Maker & Pre-Assembly Builder - $30.16 per hour:

  • Using hand and power tools to build bed bases, cupboards, kitchens and cabinets.
  • Building showers, overhead cabinets & bathroom vanities.
  • Installing furniture to the floor of the caravan.
  • Read plans and drawings.
  • Previous experience in building cabinets or furniture is highly regarded.
