About the role

Join the dynamic team at Arca Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd as a Broker Assistant. In this full-time position located in Camberwell VIC 3124, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced brokers in delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist brokers with the placement and renewal of insurance policies
  • Liaise with insurers and clients to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and facilitate policy documentation
  • Manage client records and ensure accurate data is maintained in our systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and initiatives
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the insurance brokerage

What we're looking for

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Conversational level Chinese language proficiency is required
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or customer service role within the insurance industry or other industries
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is required
  • Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • A team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
