Overview
Tritusa is seeking a Business Analyst to undertake research, discovery and analysis of business requirements, to scope, design and implement an online Program and Project Management and Reporting Tool (PPMRT).
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Review current project management processes, reporting, and frameworks.
- Engage with stakeholders, such as project managers, business owners, senior responsible officers, etc., to gather and validate functional and non-functional requirements from a project perspective.
- Document current and future state workflows to inform system design and change planning.
- Develop a Business Requirements document, including functional and non-functional specifications.
- Support the development of a Project Management Plan (PMP) by aligning requirements with delivery scope.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement.
- Produce relevant artefacts and actively participate (and at times lead) in stakeholder workshops, meetings, and stakeholder sessions.
- Assess initiative-level reporting needs and determine feasibility of integrating them into the PPMRT.
- Evaluate existing internal systems for potential use in initiative tracking, including hybrid options.
- Review a customised version of a PPMRT used by another department to assess adaptability. Provide a recommendation report outlining viable options for government initiative-level reporting, including risks and dependencies.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates with a combination of the following:
- Conducts advanced business modelling for large-scale change programmes across multiple functions, selecting appropriate techniques, engaging senior managers, and ensuring modelling outcomes align with organisational goals.
- Manages business process improvement initiatives by analysing, designing, and optimising processes to enhance efficiency, leverage automation, and establish organisational standards and tools.
- Leads complex business situation analyses involving ambiguity and multiple stakeholders, ensuring holistic evaluation, stakeholder alignment, and actionable recommendations.
- Provides expert consultancy services, understanding client needs, delivering analysis and problem resolution, and ensuring solutions are effectively implemented and adopted.
- Performs feasibility assessments by identifying and evaluating options, engaging stakeholders, and supporting business case preparation with cost–benefit, impact, and risk analysis.
- Leads requirements definition and management for complex initiatives, driving scoping, prioritisation, stakeholder negotiation, and baseline management in line with organisational standards.
- Provides guidance on methods and tools, tailoring processes to standards, evaluating effectiveness, and improving adoption and compliance across teams.
- Manages stakeholder relationships by defining engagement strategies, facilitating open communication, acting as a single point of contact, and promoting business decision-making.
- Contributes to organisational governance by defining policies, standards, and frameworks for modelling, process improvement, and requirements management.
- Collaborates across business functions to drive efficiency, innovation, and alignment between strategic objectives, operational needs, and technology enablement.
