FusionHR is proud to partner with our client in recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper. Located on the Brisbane Southside, the position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing the company's accounts, and preparing timely financial reports.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Prepare and deliver end-of-month reports in line with management deadlines.
- Compile and reconcile the Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Monitor and record costs accurately across departments or projects.
- Support management with cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, supplier, and customer accounts.
- Monitor daily and monthly cash flow requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping (minimum).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting roles.
- Experience with end-of-month processes, costing, and cash flow management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
