About the CentreAspire Early Education and Kindergarten Lucas is an upcoming childcare centre in Lucas, a suburb in the City of Ballarat. It is located within the new Lucas master-planned community and situated next to parks and sporting facilities. It is also a 3-minute drive from Lucas Primary School, making it a convenient location for families.

The Opportunity & ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with a team of educators and the Centre Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative early learning program, which will be reflective of current early years thinking and practices. As a Room Leader, you will be contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Aspire guidelines. 

About you

  • Diploma in Children's servicesorACECQA approved qualification with proven experience in a similar role
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm
  • Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards and EYLF
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
  • Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate
