Role Overview:

We are seeking a General Manager - Marketing to lead Finder's marketing engine across Australia. This role is accountable for driving customer acquisition, brand growth, and engagement through a broad marketing remit spanning paid marketing, CRM, advertising, social, PR, SEO and editorial.

You will lead the end-to-end marketing and growth strategy that delivers brand uplift, customer growth, and breakthrough innovation. You will be constantly learning, optimising, and driving profitable growth at a rapid pace - shaping the voice, presence, and performance of the brand across every touchpoint.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Finder's marketing and growth strategy to deliver customer acquisition, retention, and brand impact.
  • Guide, coach, and grow a high-performing team across performance marketing, brand, PR, SEO and editorial.
  • Build integrated campaigns that connect brand, PR, social, and editorial with performance channels to deliver cohesive growth.
  • Oversee paid marketing investments, optimising ROI and efficiency of spend.
  • Safeguard Finder's editorial and publishing standards, ensuring content is engaging, authoritative, and drives organic growth.
  • Partner with product, commercial, and data teams to align marketing priorities with company objectives.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and agility, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecast performance, and provide insight-led reporting to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the leadership team and with external partners to amplify impact.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in full-funnel marketing and growth roles, ideally in fast-paced digital environments such as consumer tech or e-commerce.
  • Proven ability to operate at both levels - setting long-term strategy while staying close to detail and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large performance marketing budgets, with a focus on efficiency and ROI.
  • Proven ability to lead PR, content, social, and CRM teams, and align them with growth and brand goals.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience scaling high-performance in-house teams.
  • A passion for the media and content landscape, and an instinct for storytelling that connects with customers.
  • Highly customer-centric, with a deep understanding of user behaviour across channels.
  • Analytical and creative, with a growth mindset and strong commercial acumen.
  • Deep familiarity with marketing technology platforms and attribution methodologies.
