We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to join us and represent Master Builders Solutions Australia in Melbourne and across the states of VIC/TAS.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing, strengthening, and maintaining key account relationships

  • Maintains existing customer base and actively seeks new customer accounts

  • Support the yearly budgeting process and the strategic direction of the business

  • Drive usage of sales efficiency tools such as Salesforce to track opportunities, log contacts and support effective customer communication

  • Achieve financial goals and targets as set by the business, fostering future growth and long-term sustainability.

  • Capitalises on opportunities with existing customers in AS or UGC for all MBS products to ensure improved individual account performance

  • Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) / tender process for key customers, ensuring a high rate of success in winning and retaining business

  • Connect with other parts of the Master Builders Solutions Admixture and Underground Construction Systems business nationally to understand and implement best practices

  • Actively participate in industry committees and boards, directly contributing to business goals and keeping the organization at the forefront of industry advancements

  • Participate in tunnel and mine site underground or above ground trials when necessary

  • Engage in customer trials, closely monitoring outcomes, and reporting findings to continuously enhance product and service offerings.

  • Upholds and promotes the MB Solutions brand

What are we looking for?

  • Outgoing personality with excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Strong practical sense and problem-solving abilities.

  • Dedication to customer service and building trust.

  • Construction Chemical/Concrete industry/background.

  • Understanding of Construction industry/processes/technologies.

  • Sales Experience

  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Ability to work closely with a supportive team and willingness to undergo training.

  • Positive outlook, good work ethic, and ability to build relationships.

  • Ability to travel between sites in Melbourne, regional Victoria and Tasmania
