Graduate Position

The position offers a genuine career launching point for a person who is seeking a broad exposure to different business functions within a technology focused environment

Primary responsibilities include:

Customer Support (40%)

• provide Level 1 support to our customers by both phone and our support tracking software (Freshdesk) and resolve these queries within our Service Level Agreement
• escalate tickets as required with your documented initial diagnosis and other information to assist efficient ticket resolution by other staff members in Australia, Canada and Sri Lanka
• administration of Freshdesk including weekly reporting of the support activity for prior week
• deliver basic ad-hoc client training as required for all CDS products
• develop a solid understanding of all the solutions that we offer to our customers
• maintaining online multimedia training and user guide resources for the Community Data Solutions (CDS) product range
• Create ad hoc communications to customers via MailChimp

Sales & Marketing support (30%)

• design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate sales queries
• create and improve sales related documentation including presentations, proposals, demonstration tools, company website and social media presence

Professional Services support (10%)

• assist the professional services team (6) in the delivery of new customer projects and account management of existing customers

Product Development support (10%)

• participate in regular product meetings with colleagues in Australia and Canada to report on common sources of technical issues and make product development recommendations

Business Administration Support (10%)

• Ad hoc tasks to support our Administration team including billing, HR and other business administration items

In time the role will extend to

• deliver more advanced client training as required for all CDS products
• assisting other staff with delivery of projects to customers as part of your development into another role within Community Data Solutions, as has been the case with prior incumbents of this position

Knowledge and experience required:

• Exceptional customer service & communication skills
• Experience in developing strategic support information systems
• Experience in providing technical (Help Desk) support to end users
• Commitment to Community Data Solutions goals and objectives
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Able to obtain and hold a National Police Certificate
• An awareness of security in a web-application environment and data privacy practices and laws

Knowledge and experience desirable:

• Understanding of the Not For Profit sector and / or experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds (NESB, CALD etc)
• Experience with business intelligence / reporting tools would be advantageous
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Documentation skills relating to support materials for curriculum and instruction technologies and experience in the use of multimedia applications

The position is accountable to the Customer Solutions Manager and degree level qualification is preferred

Position Status: Full time permanent

This position is office based for the term of probation with flexible WFH options thereafter by mutual agreement.
