- Promote and coordinate employee engagement activities that strengthen culture and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and legislative requirements, including WHS, Fair Work Act, and Award interpretation.
- Maintain accurate training records, support audits, and provide monthly L&D and HR reporting.
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and colleague recognition.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Training within hospitality or a related industry.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and compliance frameworks.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded but not essential).

- Work with a globally recognised luxury brand in an iconic waterfront location.
- Genuine opportunities for career growth and professional development through Shangri-La Academy.
- Duty meals provided in a fully staffed colleague canteen.
- Dry cleaning allowance and discounted city car parking.
- Colleague accommodation and dining discounts within the Shangri-La Group.
- A supportive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
