Junior Merchandise Planner

Are you ready to step into a role where your analytical skills meet creativity? We're looking for a Junior Merchandise Planner to join a fast-growing activewear brand that's making serious waves in the Australian market.

In this role, you'll play a key part in driving commercial success — analysing trade, shaping forecasts, and ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. Working closely with the Planning Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll turn numbers into strategies, helping deliver ranges that excite customers and maximise profitability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and refining forecasts to optimise stock levels and sales.
  • Delivering weekly and monthly trade reporting with actionable insights.
  • Supporting option planning and OTB management to balance ranges and margins.
  • Partnering with product and creative teams to shape buy plans that meet both commercial goals and brand vision.
  • Analysing trends and promotional performance to guide future decisions.

What we're looking for:

  • 1–3 years' experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical ability and advanced Excel skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the confidence to make data-led recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
  • A fast learner with attention to detail and a passion for product.
