As a Power & HVAC Product Specialist at Coates, you'll play a vital role in enabling our sales team by providing expert advice on temporary power, HVAC, and compressed air systems. Working within a high-performing national team, you'll contribute to some of the country's most exciting infrastructure, industrial, and energy projects.

What you'll be doing:

• Drive strategic sales efforts, partnering with the team to target key customers and deliver on high-impact projects across a range of industries.
• Boost product performance through tactical planning, pricing support, and market insights to identify and unlock new opportunities.
• Empower the sales team by identifying product gaps, delivering training, and promoting solution-based selling aligned to customer needs.
• Maximise product utilisation by supporting targeted campaigns and helping customers see the full value of our power and HVAC solutions.

What you'll bring to the role

• Background as an air conditioning technician or refrigeration mechanic, who also brings experience in supervision, sales, or account management. You'll combine technical know-how with commercial savvy to help drive impactful solutions for our customers.
• You're confident presenting tailored solutions—whether it's face-to-face or over the phone—and can adapt your approach to suit a wide range of industries and stakeholders.
• You've got exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, educate, and deliver engaging training to both internal teams and external partners.
• You have a strong track record in developing customer-focused solutions that don't just meet expectations—they grow accounts and build long-term value.
• Your commercial mindset and analytical skills help you interpret data, spot trends, and turn insights into action.
