Utility Solutions Group Pty Ltd is a Melbourne based utilities service provider who offer turn key solutions across a vast variety of projects. Due to recent growth we are looking for experienced and like minded people to join our team

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Civil/Electrical Supervisors who have extensive knowledge and experience with in the Victorian Electrical Supply Industry (VESI) to oversee electrical infrastructure installations including Civil works, excavation, Directional Drilling, conduit installation, cable hauling and jointing and commissioning of new equipment

This role will be based at our Dandenong depot and the work will be across metropolitan Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position of Civil/Electrical Supervisor will be 50% field based and 50% office based role.

Reporting to the operations manager you will be required to oversee the day to day running of up to 12 employees

  • Over see and ensure the correct use and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Pre scope and walk out and mark up upcoming jobs
  • DBYD and asset locations
  • Develop and maintain professional stakeholder relationships
  • Co-ordinate Auditing and quality control.
  • Co-ordinate procurement and delivery of materials
  • Display a high level of technical understanding of VEDN civil and electrical infrastructure installation
  • Maintain USG's positive reputation within the electrical supply industry and civil construction industry.
  • Monitor and maintain budgets and target dates

To be considered for this role you must posses the following

  • Minimum 5 years Civil/electrical construction experience
  • Strong computer skills, both MS Office and other work management  systems
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements
  • Strong demonstrated stakeholder management
  • A proven professional with hands on approach to completing tasks
  • Self-motivation with excellent time management skills
  • Safety first approach
