What will your typical day look like?

We are seeking a Strategy Manager, with in-depth experience in their chosen industry (one of Consumer, ER&I, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector and TMT). 

You should demonstrate deep familiarity with the evolving business landscape, including shifting customer expectations, the competitive environment, regulatory considerations, and market forces that influence organisations. This includes an understanding of how emerging technologies, such as AI, are being integrated and the key drivers behind digital transformation and operational optimisation.

This knowledge should extend beyond theoretical awareness and include a demonstrated ability to integrate these insights into strategic recommendations that address operational complexities and emerging client needs.

As a Strategy Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities may include;

Leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a project team(s) and taking ownership of a project's direction and its outcomesManaging client and stakeholder relationships and on projectsLeverage your strong strategy knowledge and skill set to work with collaboratively with clients to help solve their key business challenges Project management including managing project financials and proactively identifying and addressing project risks as they ariseAssisting Directors, Principals and Partners with defining project scopes and requirementsIdentifying and pursuing client opportunities and business development activities within your specific industry or market focus, including Leading or contributing to proposal development activities to shape, scope and win new packages of workStewardship and coaching of juniors within our practice, investing in their career journeys in addition to your ownContributing to the growth of the broader practice through thought leadership and knowledge sharing whilst helping support team recruitment, onboarding, learning and culture

You'll also directly engage with clients through designing and facilitating interviews and workshops.

Enough about us, let's talk about you. 

As the Strategy Manager, you will likely possess a tertiary degree with an outstanding academic record, coupled with demonstrated strategy consulting experience in a top tier consulting firm or strategy boutique. In addition, you will demonstrate exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise mature judgment. Lastly, experience on end-to-end strategy design, and execution across a variety of small and large scale projects.

Given the stakeholder requirements associated with the role, you will need to have highly effective communication skills, allowing you to build trust and credibility with key stakeholders, driving key outcomes and developing new opportunities.

Furthermore, you will demonstrate proven capabilities in team leadership, mentoring and people management, developing effective and efficient work environments, enabling others to work to the best of their abilities.
