This is a unique role that will have a deep impact across the business. The people strategy is a key enabler in achieving the VRC's long term strategic plan, and this role is pivotal in reshaping the way we work to deliver on this.

As the Strategy Manager you will be a key part of the transformation team supporting the design and execution of the VRC strategic plan and identification of opportunities to support our vision.

The Details

  • Facilitate the strategy process, leading and managing the VRC strategy cadence.
  • Support the program management of key strategic programs.
  • Build financial models to inform strategic and commercial choices.
  • Conduct reviews on strategic projects, evaluating the performance and impact and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify, size and evaluate growth opportunities bringing together research, analysis and insights across market, competitors, customer and industries.
  • Conduct competitor, market and customer segment analysis to help understand the business opportunities.
  • Create and deliver high-quality presentations to senior executives and board.

What We're Looking For

This is a newly created role and will work right across the VRC. It will be part of a small team that has the opportunity to make a big difference. It will require someone who has ideally work across both consultancy and in house roles:

  • Strong analytical background with track record of analysing data from various sources - analysing trends and making data led recommendations.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional team influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate the business strategy process.
  • Highly evolved organisational and program management skills.
  • Experience and proficiency in meeting and presenting to senior executive and board.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
