We're looking for a hands-on Leading Hand to join our Dandenong branch. You'll lead from the front — supporting the crew, allocating jobs, and jumping on the tools when needed. This role is afternoon shift only (3pm–12am), giving you the chance to take the next step in your leadership career while making a real impact.

Base salary from $110k + super + uncapped monthly bonuses

Duties
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of 8 mechanics
  • Allocate daily jobs and monitor progress
  • Assist with diagnostics, and repairs when required
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality
  • Communicate clearly with team, customers, and branch leaders
Skills & Experience
  • Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology - ESSENTIAL
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with trucks, trailers, or buses
  • 1+ year in a leading or supervisory role
  • Strong diagnostic and fleet servicing skills
  • Confident communicator and lead-by-example attitude
  • Full Australian work rights
