WHS Coordinator
At Sylvanvale, we don't just tick boxes— we build practical, meaningful safety solutions that support people to live the life they choose. We're on the hunt for a Work Health Safety Coordinator who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves, challenge the status quo, and make safety not just a priority, but a passion.
This is more than a compliance role—it's about making safety meaningful, practical, and empowering for everyone in our community.
What you'll be doing
This isn't your average WHS gig. You'll be at the heart of our operations, helping us build a culture where safety is second nature.
Who you are
You're not just a safety nerd (although we love that too). You're:
- A confident communicator who can write reports and policies that people want to read.
- A multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
- A collaborator who brings people together to solve problems.
- A practical thinker who knows WHS isn't just paperwork—it's people.
What you'll need
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence.
- Police clearance, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Experience in WHS, risk, or injury management (bonus points for disability or human services).
- A qualification in WHS or working towards one.
- Knowledge of the WHS Act 2011 (NSW) and return-to-work strategies.
Benefits of Working with Us
- 17.5% annual leave loading – because rest matters.
- $15,900 tax-free salary packaging + $2,750 for meals & entertainment.
- Buy extra leave – up to 1 week per year.
- Ongoing training & development – we invest in you.
- Free confidential counselling for you and your family.
- Work with purpose – every day you'll help people with disability live their best lives.
Why Sylvanvale?
At Sylvanvale, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and that they truly belong. Our values—
Belonging, Respect, Safety, Choice, and Contribution
—guide everything we do, including how we support our team.
When you join us, you become part of a community that puts people first. You'll work in an environment where your voice is heard, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your contribution makes a real impact. If you're passionate about creating safer workplaces and helping others live the life they choose, we'd love to welcome you to the team.
