We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our talented legal team across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. We offer flexibility, and are open to both full-time and part-time applicants for this position.

About the role:

Our Paralegal will be an integral part of our team and will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services and smooth transaction processes to our clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing commercial legal documentation, including term sheets, business and share sale agreements, company secretarial documents, real property leases and other commercial agreements.
  • Supporting legal practitioners in business and share sale transactions, including due diligence, contract formation and execution, and coordination of completion actions.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of firm templates and legal precedents.
  • Managing commercial transaction workflows, key dates and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis relevant to corporate and commercial law matters.
  • Coordinating documentation and workflow for various commercial transactions.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant file records in line with firm procedures and policies.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely outcomes.

About You:

  • Experience working as a corporate or commercial paralegal in a law firm.
  • Proven experience assisting in business and asset sale transactions.
  • Strong working knowledge of leases and lease assignment/transfer documentation.
  • Familiarity with drafting or reviewing standard commercial agreements (e.g. supply agreements, services contracts, confidentiality documents, T&Cs, shareholders agreements etc).
  • Experience developing and maintaining templates and precedents.
  • An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, including using styles, templates and cross referencing.
  • Experience using legal software and document management systems.
