Newcastle Maitland Hunter, Australia The Co-Group Limited Full time $45,000 - $60,000 per year

The Co-Group is looking for NDIS and Aged Care Support Workers for clients around Port Stephens, Stockton and Tea Gardens. As a Support Worker, you will be required to support participants with daily living activities, including domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, community access, medication, and more. 

This is a casual role, therefore hours can fluctuate depending on the requirements of the clients/company and the minimum hours for a shift is 2 hours.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License & access to a comprehensive-insured car
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience with Disability and/or Aged Care support

What you'll do: 

  • Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and personal care
  • Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
  • Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.
  • Follow company policies and procedures
