As an Inclusion Support Educator at Goodstart Cairns, you'll become a vital part of our team, working alongside Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft and enhance exceptional learning programs for our children. You will further work alongside our regular teaching team to support children with additional needs so they can participate meaningfully in our program. Your dedication to safety and inclusivity will ensure every child thrives and feels valued in their learning experiences.

About Goodstart Cairns:

Our intimate 73-place centre proudly features a diverse array of cultural languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Filipino, Punjabi, Pidgin, and Sinhalese. Our dedicated staff, with service durations ranging from 3 to 22 years, provide long-term stability and commitment. Conveniently situated near the city, our centre is within walking distance of local shops and has a bus stop right in front. Each room has its own yard, ensuring that children receive age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.

You'll need:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Check
