Special Education Teacher Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing inclusive educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students with specific learning difficulties.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher to work collaboratively with our experienced team in a vibrant co-educational environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in creating intervention strategies to help students at risk, and identify areas of concern in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Recognise and respect the unique needs of each student.
  • Maintain accurate Student Snapshots profiles for students with Specific Learning Difficulties.
  • Develop and review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for Tier 3 case management students each semester.
  • Liaise with parents and encourage active involvement in their child's education.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or equivalent industry experience.
  • Registration with the relevant teaching authority.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, organisation, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing quality education and support to students with special needs.
