Package: Base with very competitive commission structure
Position Purpose
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing inbound and outbound leads, and building strong professional relationships with high-level medical professionals such as doctors. The role focuses on driving pipeline growth through strategic prospecting, professional communication, and meticulous CRM management.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research new business opportunities within the medical sector.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
Manage inbound leads and follow up promptly and professionally.
Maintain and update lead information in the CRM system.
CRM & Data Management
Accurately record all interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups in the CRM.
Maintain clean, organised, and actionable lead data.
Generate reports and insights from CRM data to support business strategy.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Professionally engage with medical professionals (doctors, specialists, practice managers) via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Schedule strategy calls, demos, and consultations as required.
Build trust and credibility by demonstrating knowledge of medical services and solutions.
Sales & KPI Achievement
Meet or exceed daily and weekly KPIs, including:
Number of dials/calls per day
Number of strategy calls booked
Number of qualified leads generated
Support the sales team in moving prospects through the sales funnel.
Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure lead quality and alignment with business objectives.
Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, preferably within the medical or healthcare sector.
Must have strong closing skills and track record.
Experience engaging with high-level professionals such as doctors and practice managers.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and lead management processes.
Exceptional phone, email, and virtual communication skills.
Ability to work remotely in Australian and United Kingdom business hours.
Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Target-driven with a focus on achieving KPIs and results.
